Something equally interesting: if you create a unique index, you create an implicit unique constraint on the column(s) involved. Latest versions, of course. Could this be a "preview" of things to come?

Aside: the presentation thing on 10G today was quite interesting. As usual, "Dr.DBA" stole the show. Was good to catch up with him after a 7 year pause!

Very interesting stuff is all I can say. And here goes a prediction: ASSM and ADM will replace all other methods in Wintel before M$ brings out Longhorn server. Any guesses why?
