I am so stunned by your response I'm near speechless. And it takes a lot to shut me up. ;-)

Did you really read the installation documents? How could you possibly run a script from
a previous version to upgrade a new installation?

Isn't there someone else in your organization that can perform this upgrade. It seems you really
need a mentor from inside your organization or should hire a consultant for a week.
