Have you noticed how eclectic these homophobic folks are? They pick and
choose verses from the Old Testament to bolster their case, when they have
no idea what the scripture scholars say about these verses. They(the
scripture scholars) are not homophobic, since they will tell you that these
OT verses have nothing to do with homosexuality as we speak of it today.
Again, these same folks who condemn gay people simply gloss over completely
the essential message of the New Testament, which is love. No wonder
Mahatma Gandhi said: "I like your Christ, but not his Christians." All of
which is one reason why I have nothing to do with organized religion today,
eg. gross hypocrasy.
