Adding to this .. Ryan, If you ask Oracle Support you *might* find that you are not only violating the support agreement for the database you are performing this
action in, but also for the database you are retrofitting this transportable tablespace in.
(i.e. not only the sandbox database .. but the production database also).

True you might not have had any problems. But its better to wait until Oracle provides
an "alter tablespace rename" statement.

Other than that, no harm in trying unsupported actions in a junk database, for knowledge gain.
