Hello Guys!

We access a DB2- database out of an ORACLE 8i database via Generic Connectivity.
It works out fine as long as the user on both databases have the same username and password.
Is this the only way the Generic Connectivity works, or is there a way of connecting a user A with password B of a ORACLE database to a user C with password D on a DB2 database via Generic Connectivity. Thanks in advance!

Bye!
