Brian,

That's a little bit simplistic.
If he is using any options, such as Intermedia, Java, there are other scripts that will need to be run, possibly with some parameters being set, or minimum _pool_size settings during execution.

Consultation of the release notes and readme.[txt, htm] for any patchsets would be strongly advised. The migration manual could be worth a shot, too.

If locally managed tablespaces were not used, I'd consider using exp/imp into a new database that uses LMTs with uniform extents.
