Hi,

Whats the most reliable test to check if Java is installed on an Oracle server with SQL. What I am actually looking for is the SQL i can use to get back the text shown when you login in SQL Plus:

For example:
JServer Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production

I noticed that: v$version does not contain this information.
