I've recently started used Cygwin's XServer (Red Hat's Cygwin runs 'in a dos box' on a Windows machine) to do remote installs on Linux boxes. Or do you really need 'headless' installs?

If you don't know how, you can set up using the advice from http://tldp.org (>>HowTos) on setting up remote X applications.

http://cygwin.com to get this free XServer. Received on Fri Aug 01 2003 - 18:49:11 CDT
