:( Of course if the prices/availability in the TPC-C are just made up as well then the whole thing becomes even more fantastically meaningless. the arketing pitch to those who buy this stuff would have to be rewritten slightly

My understanding though was that the whole point of the full disclosure was to list hardware and software accurately, and lets face it the end of the year as an availability date for 10G doesn't seem unreasonable.
