Fist things first: *which* version of Oracle? 8ki starts in 8.1.5 andgoes all the way up to 8.1.7. With multiple patch sets for each.
So, which one are you in and what patch set have you applied? What platform, while we're here.

After that is cleared, you may want to follow some of the advice already given to re-analyze, re-verify that install/upgrade completed properly, etc.
