It sounds like you are using a version of Oracle and possibly a version of a WIndows operating system. Unfortunately we can not determine which versions of either product.

Assuming you are using a version of Windows, a default PATH will be set up in the appropriate control panel applet. In many version, click on START
> SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL > SYSTEM > Advanced (Tab) > Environment
Variable (button). You might be able to rearrange the data in the PATH variable or eliminate unnecessary directories. Received on Mon Jul 21 2003 - 19:27:13 CDT
