One of the PC magazines ran a major comparson article last year that is still receiving comments. It was a pretty good test and the followup articles explain the why/how/fix to some of the results obtained in the test. You may try a search via Google on "Oracle, DB2, SQLServer" all being listed in one article.

The mySQL web site has a document that lists the features available from mySQL compared to several major databases. I believe that the major databases compared against (all in one tabular check list format) are Oracle, DB2, SQLServer, and PostgreSQL.
