[oracle_at_localhost cdrom]$ ls

doc index.htm install patch response runInstaller stage
[oracle_at_localhost cdrom]$

[oracle_at_localhost cdrom]$ ./runInstaller
: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
[oracle_at_localhost cdrom]$

but still error...

[oracle_at_localhost cdrom]$ sh runInstaller
: command not found2:
': not a valid identifieret: `SRCHOME
: command not found5:
': not a valid identifieret: `SHLIB_PATH : command not found7:
: command not found9:
runInstaller: line 42: syntax error: unexpected end of file
[oracle_at_localhost cdrom]$

also error...

[oracle_at_localhost cdrom]$ cd install/linux
[oracle_at_localhost linux]$ ./runInstaller
The Java RunTime Environment was not found at p/bin/jre. Hence, the Oracle Universal Installer cannot be run. Please visit http://www.javasoft.com and install JRE version 1.1.8 or higher and try again.
: No such file or directory
[oracle_at_localhost linux]$

This one also got error, actually the version is the same as expected by oracle.

But why i got this error message also?

Thank you very much,
