I've applied this patchset on Win2K, Solaris, and HP/UX without problem, and know many others that have done so with numerous operating system too, so I am led to believe the problem is one of not following directions.
Please be more specific as to what you are doing and what the problem is. Your vague hyperbolic statements contain nothing from which specific help can be provided. For example ... did you follow the patch instructions exactly or did you deviate from them and if so where. And what, specifically, is actually wrong with the result and when does it become apparent.
