I have a similar server (not running oracle), using two 5304 controllers connectined to 56 x 15k drives in raid 1+0. I can copy from one card (26 disks attatched) to the other (26 disks also atattched) at a breathtaking 80mb/s or about 6mb per spindle for sustained writing...

What sort of throughput are you seeing with your setup? I wasn't very impressed with mine...
