Interesting. A quick whiz through google brings up a number of posts from Yong Huang and Howard Rogers amongst others (one, for example, dated 23rd February 2002 -see posts 13 and 17 in the thread) which state they manage perfectly well without ocopy. And at one point even do a sort-of demo to prove the point.

Add me to the list of those who manage well without it.

I suppose that if the tool is there, it won't do any harm to use it.

Personally, since I always dbv my O/S backups after the event, I don't see the need for it.

But mileage varies.
