Useless Derivative Technology.

Marketing rushed into an 'Object Relational Database' about 6 years ago, as I understand it because they felt threatened by something Informix had, and IBM might get.
Now they're saddled with maintaining the legacy for the benefit of the suckers who believed them, whilst really hoping that it will be quietly forgotten.
