on Unix the password file is always in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs On Winblows 8i and higher usually in oracle/admin/<SID>/pfile, but there is always a registry variable in HKLM\software\oracle with the correct value.
Two password files are not an option and the directory is fixed. Not sure what you are up to.
Just do some reading.
