Hi ,

Oracle 9.2.0 on SunOs 5.6

Wanted to know if there is any way of getting a feedback of rows created in a table during a "CREATE TABLE....AS SELECT...FROM TABLE" , instead of executing "SELECT COUNT(*) FROM TABLE" or Analysing the table after the create has finished .

Just wanted to avoid another full scan of the table created as these are quite huge (around 20 mil records)

Thanks in advance,

Mahesh
