OUI installs it's own jre, normally in /tmp or $TMPDIR.
Can programs be executed from that location? Some unix's don't allow execution from /tmp, but I never saw this with Debian. Anything wrong with execute permissions in /usr/src/Disk1 ?
Just a couple of wild guesses.
And why 8.1.7 ???
