Calling names and posting obviously biased opinions in an Oracle newsgroup... what the heck did you think the response would be?

Go with the free software and when you get in a real bind ... corruption and recoveries ... then call ??? who????

If a company like Redhat and Oracle provided support for your free stuff (like is done with Linux), then your choice would make sense.

Otherwise, good luck and polish off your resume.
