export/import many files over 2GB limit

Hi Ralf,

watch out for this problem :

I get export files which have been compressed and have the .Z extension, but I always use gunzip to decompress them - because it can !

However, if the file to be written is bigger than 2GB gunzip dies on me with'file too big' errors. This happens if I try to simply gunzip the file to disc, or to a pipe device which is being read by an import. Uncompress works filne with these big files.

I think I might need to update the version of gunzip on my HP servers :o)
