May I come back to the original problem:

The original database does only exist in the tree of the server in \database (with its control and data file and the ini files).

The services had been removed so the registry is defunct Oracle-wise.

Even if I manage to resurrect a server again, be it from an installation CD or by any other means, what do I have to do to make this DB visible to the Orcale installation? As said, no dump (export) exists.
