Which "3rd party backup solution"? Oracle comes with a bare bones media management layer from Legato. But you'll need to read the docs to get that set up right and configured on your server. For more comprehensive media management software, Legato will be willing to sell you their Legato Module for Oracle. Veritas and others have similar solutions.
