As a blind person, I can't think of anything more rediculous than a guide horse! Its often difficult enough getting people to accept a guide dog in their shops and cafes - a horse is just not going to make it any more acceptable. You can also forget about taking a little doggy-do bag with you - garbage bags are going to be needed! ;-)

On a serious note, as someone who trained and rode horses for many years, there is no way I would trust a horse as a guide! they are far more likely to do something unexpected than a guide dog IMHO.
