SQLWays is a database migration tool. It transfers database structures and data between IBM DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase and MySQL databases.

With SQLWays, you can automatically convert tables, indexes, primary and foreign keys, table constraints and other database objects.

SQLWays automates most of the time-consuming migration tasks.

Key Benefits

a.. Flexible, Open and Extensible Migration Process

a.. Uses export/import migration architecture that provides users with the most flexible capabilities for managing the migration process.

b.. Allows you to perform export on one system and then execute import on another system and platform (Windows or Unix)

c.. Uses open formats that allows you to easily customize and extend the migration tasks

d.. Exports database structures to SQL scripts

e.. Exports data to text files (CSV, SQL INSERT statements, TAB-delimited, fixed length and other formats). Transfer of LOB data (images, binary data, formatted text) is completely supported

f.. Provides you with a wizard-driven user interface to facilitate the migration.

g.. Allows you to automate the migration process using the SQLWays command prompt tool

b.. Migration to Multiple Database Platforms

a.. Provides you with the same concepts and methods to migrate databases to IBM DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase and MySQL on different platforms

b.. Supports not only the latest database versions, but many widespread versions as well

  c.. High Performance

a.. Uses high performance tools to import data (Oracle SQL Loader, IBM DB2 LOAD/IMPORT, SQL Server and Sybase BCP)

b.. Data export and transformation modules written in C/C++
