Nope, that's not it. Tracing is not enabled in sqlnet.ora, here it is:

SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES=(NTS) NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH=(TNSNAMES) Note: I don't have a database created yet.
