Its more of a joke than a story.

A computer VDU spends most of its time showing images and then goes into screen saver mode to stop screen burn.

A boy/girl in a school spends a lot of their time just looking at the teacher writing on the blackboard. I guess this boy looked out of the window to avoid eye burn!
