Spot on. Shame, though. But we all do. We are instructed "Do this", so we do it. What we should be saying is 'OK, if you really, really want me to "Do this", I'll do it, but might it not be a better idea to "Do that" instead'?

And on the main topic: as far as I am concerned, Jonathan can post whatever he likes whenever he likes. After all, he is one of the few posters here who actually knows what he is talking about.
