I feel your pain.. I too find it hard dealing with certain support folks.. Out of three that I deal with on a regular basis (sun, oracle, veritas), only veritas meets and exceeds my expectations. But you have to keep pushing, they'll resolve it eventually, but I did have cases where it took more than a month.
