I dont think there is any way to use sqlplus against an odbc database of any brand. There is no mechanisum I know of to make sqlplus talk to an odbc datasource.

Use client software equivalent (to sqlplus) from Tandem - surely they have something. If you have an odbc driver for it(for the client side), you could use MS Access to look at data and execute satements.
