But, you seemed to have apologized for blasting this guy who spent his time creating an open-source tool for Oracle development which we might all benefit from but in the same posting you still talk about spam and commercial messages, somehow trying to justify your knee-jerk reactions.

Why don't you just admit that you have knee jerk reactions and straight apologize to the guy. Don't postpend it with, "Well, spammers ..." You blasted some open source developer for creating an oracle tool that we might find useful. Why is there any difference to this than what Jonathan Lewis does with his FAQ, but, of course, no knee-jerk reactions from you when Jonathan posts. Hm...

The point is this wasn't spam. Once you quit knee-jerk preaching and spend a little more time reading the posts that make you want to preach, you might find that lots of the people you quickly decide to yell at actually have good things to say/ask.
