Sorry, here I am posting some personnal issues. My actual requirement
1) is to find the storage area the oracle is connected. ie., The oracle

   may be running on windows but it can use some other system to store    its data files / redos.

2) to find the oracle instances running on the network.

If u have any idea about this , Pls help me.
