I agree which is why I apologized ... but I still think we should keep a firm policy of no PR messages in these groups. Otherwise, like falling dominos, vendors selling for profit will see the other messages and feel free to pollute. Vendors are not so careful as to read the fine print.

To our host ... could you please update the FAQ for these groups to specifically indicate the rules of engagement with respect to postings. A clear statement of what is appropriate would help in keeping these groups from being hijacked for commercial purposes.
