Did you use ftp to get the file to the W2K machine? Guess you copied it in ascii mode and that corrupts the file. Ftp it binary.

In 8i you had to create V7 exp/imp views (run script catexpv7) to be able to import a V7 dump. Don't have tried it in 9i with a 8i dump yet, but it must be possible. Don't have 9i available now so can't check if there is a catexpv8 now in de 9i rdbms/admin dir Otherwise check the Utilities manual. Received on Sat Apr 05 2003 - 03:18:53 CST
