Problem with OEM

Hi there.

I have a problem with starting the Oracle Enterprise Manager ... I start the console (C:\oracle\ora81\bin\oemapp.bat console) and the login screen appears and when I speficy the username and password and then press ok the wait cursors appears and thats it .... on one workstation it still works but on my new installations (tried two other workstations) its the same ...
The enterprise manager is version 2.2.0.0.0 I tried a fresh installation from the oracle 8.1.7 cd but the problem remains.
On the old workstation the java console still works.

how can I debug this? Can I turn on logging somewhere? Any hints?
