What editor would you recommend for installing and configuring Oracle and any arbitrary unix on a new box with no internet connection?

Personally, I find it easier not to be switching editors a whole lot. And much easier not to be overly dependent on a mouse. I would use vim or one of the others on PC's, but there comes a time when they get switched too often and you just want to know a few native editors and not bother with continuous installing every time you move around.
