Never had that much trouble. My guess is you are using too much ram and
swapping to death, but I don't know. Since this is 4/1 maybe its a joke?
Seriously, I've installed a lot of versions of Oracle on a variety of
platforms and never had anywhere near the problems you describe even
collectively!
