Thanks to all of you. I was the one who originally posted the message, I just didn't have my name.

The reason of my question is that Oracle9i is HUGE, and I didn't know exactly where to start. I went to OTN.ORACLE.COM, and downloaded some pdf's to my PC, Right now I'm reading the Database Administration guide, I think it's pretty good to start understanding the basics on Oracle.

I just bought a book at http://half.ebay.com, the name is Oracle9i Development By example, ISBN 0-7897-2671-8 by Dan Hotka, every page I read, every page I understand.

.Wish me luck on my new Oracle adventure

What would be a good book on PL/SQL or SQL *Plus.   I'm just a beginner with no SQL experience at all.

  Thanks.
