One of the most important aspects of any security policy is security the security implementation. If you secure the knowledge that you are validating IP Addresses ... no one is going to spoof IP Addresses to try to get around the security constraint.

Well lets put it this way ... anyone with that level of sophistication is going to likely get in anyway.
