I'm not sure if it fits, but years ago I used to 'export' + 'import'. Can't remember the syntax right now, but 'import' allowed changing the owner (schema) and you could export without data to ensure the schema was clean. Check out the Utilities manuals (online at http://otn.oracle.com)
