Greetings,
I'm trying to start the Oracle Internet Directory service (Red Has Advanced Server, Oracle 9iAS ver 9.0.2.0.1) and it keeps failing to run. Here's the log from $ORACLE_HOME/ldap/log/oidmon.log:
2003/03/25:15:22:18Starting OIDLDAPD Server, PID=4120 2003/03/25:15:22:18OIDLDAPD Instance 1 added into registry 2003/03/25:15:22:18Updating Process Table... 2003/03/25:15:22:18Exec of OIDLDAPD Server failed with error=2 2003/03/25:15:22:18OIDLDAPD server terminated normally 2003/03/25:15:22:18Check log file oidldapd01.log 2003/03/25:15:22:18Deleting OIDLDAPD instance 1 from Process table 2003/03/25:15:22:19OIDLDAPD Instance 1 deleted from registry
The error message it's logging (from oidmon) is "Exec of OIDLDAPD Server failed with error=2." Anyone familiar with what "error=2" means? I examined the log file oidldpad01.log and it doesn't have anything in it but old entries.
