Hi Jim,

Shutdown the DB, restore the datafile and recover it with a mounted database. Then open and vola !!

Hopefully your backup doesn't contain the corruption, DBV should tell you ....

It's bedtime, someone else might mention using RMAN to recover just the stuffed block (if you're on 9i and using RMAN backups)
