Snapshot wizard

I have a question about the Snapshot wizard:

This is the situation: I want to make a snapshot from one table & index in a server and store it on a central server. I have 2 database on the " same " server:

1 = production DB and contains the to be replicated table 2 = Repository DB where in all the Enterprise jobs are scheduled

-IN which database ( 1 or 2) should I start the " Snapshot setup
Wizard "
Is it better to start/ implement the wizard from the repository DB or straight from the production DB (both are on the same server)

By the way: the wizard can only be activated from DBA-Studio and nothing happens if i try to startup the wizard in the OEM. (Any clue?)
