Off-topic I know.

From what I've seen of 8i on HPUX, (8.1.5 though 8.1.7), I will only say that I'd prefer to ignore the 64 bit versions of Oracle, irrespective of the 'bitness' of the underlying HPUX, and stick with the Oracle 32 bit.

OK; I know there are those cleverer than I; this is biased, and based on some unpleasant experiences. Others' mileages may vary.
