Firstly, Volume Manager and ocfs are two different concents. Secondly, it's for production. Ocfs first released Nov 2002. I have tried it, too buggy at the moment. I use vi to edit init.ora on OCFS, vi hangs and dies, then I lose the file. I know it is designed for oracle use only, but it scares me.
