The government of the city of Basel ( Switzerland ) has decided to migrate their current document management & e-mail system Linkworks to Oracle Collaboration Suite. It's a big aproach to migrate the current documents ( ~400Gig, Metadata in Oracle7.3.4, Documents themselve in True64 Filesystem, hosted in HDS7700E ) to the new system ( Oracle9i RAC, 2nodes V880, Solaris9 )

We're faced to the decision to buy an HDS9970 or an EMC˛, appr. 1,2 Terra.

Is there anybody out there, who has made any experience with these systems.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Scincerly, yours
