But that is *exactly* what Oracle defines as desupported: no more active bug resolving (patch releases) for this version. You can still open iTars, and _get_ support.

Desupported doesn't mean CSS will drop the phone; but it's getting very likely that you get a giggle, and a remark like "We'll see, sir, if we can find someone still having knowledge of that [7.3.4] product...".
Happened to a customer very recently.
