There is a way to get around this (IIRC you can get up to 256), but before even worrying about that I would contact PS. Again IIRC, they are not yet supporting RAC with PS. If the PS installation is important enough that you want to use RAC with it (presumably for availability?), I'd make damned sure the app was certified with RAC first.
