I'm a domain user with administrative privileges and a memerber of ora_dba group. I want to start a Oracle instance, in absence of the dba who is in charge of that box (Oracle 9i in windows 2000). How do I do this? I used to start Oracle from svrmgrl in Oracle 8i in such situations. TIA,
